Privacy
Plain English, no fine print. Vantage is a marketing watchdog: we measure what anyone could see about a business from the outside, and we keep what you tell us to a minimum.
We use what you enter to generate your visibility report. If you give us an email, we use it to send your report and to follow up about Vantage. We never sell your data.
Some features let you connect your own Google account so Vantage can work on your behalf. This is always optional, and you approve it through Google's standard consent screen. If you connect one, here is exactly what we access, only ever for your own account:
We store the Google sign-in tokens securely on our servers, never show them to anyone, and use them only to do what you asked or to confirm it worked. Vantage's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We never sell this data or use it for advertising.
We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to see how visitors navigate Vantage and where they get stuck. This includes anonymized session replays with all text and form fields masked, we never record what you type, and we never sell your data. Enable Do Not Track in your browser to opt out.
Vantage reports only externally-observable data and never fabricates numbers. If we haven't measured something yet, we say so plainly instead of inventing a figure or a competitor.
